Brrr! It was a great time to sit with a quilt on my lap and hand stitch the binding while enjoying a warm cuppa, ok glass of hot tea!
Finished machine quilting the above quilt on Monday. I do enjoy hand sewing the binding on. Although it is time consuming, I find it so relaxing!
I am still attempting to remain focused ..... Let me tell you, it ain't easy for me. I am so all over the place. So many projects needing completion and so many needing to be started .... Squirrel! lol Finished Frivol 2.
Faithful by Minick & Simpson. It uses their recent fabric line Polka Dots & Paisley. I just love how it turned out!
On a side note, my new smaller quilt rack is up on the wall. The new smaller size is perfect for these quilts, don't you think?
Compared to how they looked on the larger rack!
Much better don't you think? Now I need to look for quilts for the larger rack! It will be a pleasure!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Catch you later! Cheers!

lovely quilt rack........I enjoy stitching the binding........it's a stop and slow down process..........
I really wish Spring would get here, lol. We got the worst of it too, but all melted now.
Love your quilt rack and I like the idea of making some for the wall to hang seasonal quilts from.
Need to have Bill make me some. I have a rack I found in a thrift with dowel sized rungs, nice to hang small quilts from with a clothes pin.

I like you rack on the wall for displaying quilts.
I'm thinking you might live next door -- our weather has been warm then cold and the outside looked just like your photo the other day. Lots of sleet yesterday and I was doing just what you said -- binding in front of the fire last night. Love that sweet little quilt rack!
You could throw those quilts on the floor and they would STILL be magnificent! I love them! (but yes, the new ladder looks wonderful:o)) I hate to tell you...summer like weather on the West Coast of Canada! Seriously...broke out the t-shirt and capris yesterday! Just sayin....
Oh brrrr!
I love those quilt racks. The quilts look beautiful on them.
