How is your week coming along? Fall is certainly in the air in our neck of the woods. I've been busy working on an English paper piecing quilt.
One more row to go and it will be done. I'm using half inch hexagons.
The pattern was from the Spring 2013 issue of Primitive Quilts and Project. I'm hooked on English Paper Piecing, like I needed yet another hand project.
Here is my latest attempt of working with hexagons.
Size 3/8" hexagons! "No, I'm not insane, my mother had me tested" Love the Big Bang Theory! When I e-mailed a picture to a friend, DH said "you should put a dine next to it so people have a reference". Hum, my friend did not need a reference point! lol
In case you might, and to please DH, here is a reference point!
Hum.... maybe I should have also included a Euro! ;o)
Thank you so much for stopping by! Cheers!

LOVE those hexies!
Precise, miniature, perfection!
That is going to be a gorgeous quilt. I enjoy doing hexagons, but it is not something you can rush.

What a fabulous project...those little hexies are tiny, I appreciate your dedication...but it will be spectacular!k
It's going to be beautiful!
Wow! I didn't realize how tiny they were! Wonderful job!!!
This is stunning! All your work is so worth it!
Those hexies are addictive! GORGEOUS work! That little one is just wonderful and I like DH's idea to show how impressed he is of your work.
I started this project when I did a little bit of traveling because it's so nice and portable. I need to pull it out and do some more work on it. Yours is absolutely beautiful - and you're getting SO close to finished!
P.S. Are you going to frame it like it showed in the magazine? (just wonderin')
Wow -- that is little. I'll bet they're really fun to sew though! We love the Big Bang Theory too and have been watching the re-runs all summer. And, from what I see of the fall line-up, it looks like we'll still be watching them through the fall -- even though we've seen them all several times LOL!
WOW that is beautiful but really I think you are crazy. LOL
...or you should have put a króna :)
