I'm still here! I did manage to
finally piece the center of the General's Wives quilt .... only because I needed my design wall for another quilt.
Multi tasking as usual, so what else is new? lol
As you know, I have been doing a lot of hand embroidering. I am in need of a mindless project, something that soothes the mind and is not demanding.
Why you might ask? Well, do I have news for you! I am now the sole owner of
Fibre Junction. Yes, you read right. Jennifer needed to move in another direction and asked if I would take over her share. It's all very exciting for me and my mind is overly busy with lots of new ideas! ;o)
Guess what? Yep, Another block done!
I decided for this block to embroider the names of people I knew, as opposed to what the designer wrote. It makes the quilt a bit more personal! ;o)
Oh.....Yep, mindless.....
I must admit, stitching writing is my least favourite! There's just something about it that I haven't figured out! All I can say... it's done... no more for that quilt!
