I want to thank all of my friends who helped me get the word out regarding the auction to benefit Queensland Flood Relief. I know that I have been neglectful of my blog and I am truly grateful that you helped me get the word out. Thank you so much! You cannot imagine what this means to me. I could not have done it without you.
The winner of the Civil War Chronicle kit has been contacted. Once everything is in order, I will publish the winner. Thank you to all those who participated in this auction.
For those who were unable to bid and would still like to help, you can make a donation to the disaster relief appeal here. Every little bit counts!
Thank you again!

I just wanted to thank you for your incredibly generous auctiou to raise much needed funds for the flood here. Time was a little against us here as our "sewing groups" haven't reconvened yet, so I could only get the word out to a few people. But even today I have been getting emails from some just getting back from holidays saying how touched they were by the kind thoughts and generousity of others.
We here in A are relatively lucky in terms of flood damage - not much in town at all, and in surrounding areas some roads and bridges, a few houses and sheds, and of course some cars - but nothing like the damage you are seeing on TV. But the damage to agriculture everywhere (esp after 13years of drought) just cannot be imagined.
But it is wonderful to see armies of volunteers from the city areas coming out to help re-erect thousands of kms of fencing and clear rubbish from fields and vinyards.
People are just so good!
Thanks again!! ((HUGS))
